Join the Canal Corridor Association for the dinner lecture "Wau-Bun the Early Days" at the Gaylord Building on Thursday October 18th 2018. Juliette Magill married the famous fur trader and U.S. Indian sub-agent John H. Kinzie in 1830. He invited her to share with him the great adventure of life in the Northwest Territory. In the early 19th century French voyageurs, fur trappers, British soldiers, American pioneers and above all Indians peopled the wilderness of the Great Lakes. Come celebrate the early days of the frontier with writer, historian and pioneer Juliette Magill Kinzie!
